Vertical Montage
Slide Show The Montage layout creates rows of thumbnails, centred on the page, almost like a collage. No written description can be added, but when moused-over a description is then viewable. This link will open a new window showing image of the montage gallery. When inserting the gallery, you cannot choose how many thumbnails to have per row, as you can with the vertical and horizontal layout, but it can easily be done if you decide to customise the gallery. This is a very easy layout to customise. Front Page creates the thumbnails into one table. Each row contains three or four images all in the same cell. This is probably the easiest layout of all the galleries to alter.
