Front Page
When Front Page creates your Photo Gallery, it also creates some files and folders. It is very important you know what these are and which files you can or cannot touch within them. Front Page will create a folder called "photogallery" and inside that Front Page will save a folder for every Gallery you make. Each Gallery will be given an individual number. The folder will be called "photox" - where the letter x represent a number. In the case of my Plants gallery, Front Page called my folder "photo041" - as in the image below.
Look on the right of the image - there you will see the content of the photo041 folder. The images are the thumbnails that Front Page created from my larger images - each one is about 3kb. There are also three pages created - real.htm, real_p.htm and real_x.htm. If you are not going to customise your gallery, then just leave all those files alone, together with the images in the same folder. A couple of pages will appear to be exact copies of the gallery on your page .... and to a certain extent they are, but they each contain different code and they are required for both the Wizard and gallery to work correctly. If you are going to customise your gallery, then I will be dealing with these file in more detail under the customisation section.
